Using what's in the fridge, vol 2

Cut up half an onion and some garlic. Put it in a pan with some hot olive oil and some Penzey's chicken taco seasoning. Added a little cayenne. Sauteed.

Put about three cups of stock in there, added a frozen chicken breast and let it poach. Shredded up the chicken, added a jar of salsa.

It makes a passable soup. Who knew?

Mmmm, sounds mighty tasty.

Last night I rubbed three chicken breastuhses with Tony Cachere's and grilled them. MizBubs picked some basil and rosemary, I heated some garlic in some olive oil and then threw the frozen broccoli florets I had in the freezer in with some spaghetti while it cooked, then we tossed the whole mess together.

Here's to using up what's left in the fridge!

Well done, Bubses! This will be a regular feature going forward. Keep me posted on your achievements!
I was on board until the salsa. That sounded strange, but I'd try it if you made it.

Realistically, salsa is just tomatoes, chili, garlic, onion, cilantro and maybe a bit of citrus. It would have been better to use a fresh version of each of these, but I didn't have that.

That would have caused a riot in my house, ultimately ending in my lynching. Sweetness might have eaten eat, Mr. Ten S would have complained and bink would have started stabbing me with his fork. Personally, I think it sounds kind of good.

I make something similar, only there is frozen corn and a can of black beans involved too.

You should ask yourself, "Self, what would Jesus concoct?".
I imagine it would have been some tasty shit no matter what he thought up.
